"I questioned the time span of this relationship--for what it was: it was alive and then it lost its passion." She said as she took a sip of her tea. "I mean, things were different."
"You ALWAYS say that." Cory said as she put some sugar cubes in her cup.
"Nah, they were." She put the stirrer in her glass. "They way I loved him." She sighed as she began to stare off.
"And the way he couldn't love you back?" Cory's forehead wrinkled apathetically, Mona looked up and frowned. "Yeah, sounds like the typical "Mona" thing to say."
" 'It's not you, it's me." Serif stared at Mona and arched her hand. "We've all seen the movies girlie, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, honey, the rules are all the same-- John Tucker Must Die, I know you've seen them both."
Mona sighed depressingly and stared at Luca.
"Don't look at me bitch, I'm gay and a virgin. Bullshit don't roll on this plate."
"You gotta stop looking boo." Serif said as she began to curve her body to the rhythm of the radio.
"I've thought really hard about this you guys ... I do love him but what happens now?"
"You drop him." Serif replied putting her cup on the coaster.
"Go fuck Olive." Cory said in a nonchalant tone.
"My ovaries are acting up." Luca cried as he groped his stomach. "Let it blow over."
"This may take months." Mona's lips formed a great line.
"Years." said Cory.
"Are you really willing to set aside your love for that?" Serif stared at her sternly and rose an eyebrow.
"I don't know." Mona stared into her cup.
"You do know, if you didn't know, you wouldn't be so damn indecisive." Luca said as he accidentally kicked the bottom of the table.
She'll be lost for a bit.
For a very long time.
