Under Construction

She cried a lot, more than you will ever know.

And she figured that maybe someday she would tell you even though she knew she could not.

She is often angry for misreading things, she is not an idiot I promise, but the "little" things matter.

You should not taint her with kisses; you are more human than you think.

But the walls are so high, you are in denial, as is she (not quite);

So in the meantime you might as well enjoy it and not regret it.

She will still get sour and pout for a while longer but that is natural of her.

She will let it go when the words are down, more of a "nice girl" who learned to scowl.

"I am not nice!" She shouted metaphorically.

Yet she is attracted, she can't write that they feel in unison because today you were dishonest,

She could smell it on your skin.

It is funny how easily one can become distracted by the dozen petals that fall.

You should not be so generous with your kisses or the words you call because it will only settle wrong.

And the less you continue to prolong advanced movements only then can she tell up from down.

Be careful because you just may rub her wrong.

And she is left with a constant thought of how long this can go on.

Like a tug of war with bricks and cement,

Sledgehammers are not the gentlest way of opening doorways but they might just be the only way.
