In the midst of truth,
I’ll let you lie to me.
Before we get married in this booth,
I’ll let you lie to me.
A sigh of comparison,
The truth you hide from me.
The dreaming I’m left with,
Dear sit here I’ll cry to you.
Oh how modest you are,
You see I’ve lied to you.
Sighing rain what a pain,
You can’t see I cry for you.
The shame I carry,
I know you won’t love me.
Shove me aside,
It’s okay to me.
I’ll listen to what you say,
Just don’t lie to me.
Rain clouds have gone away,
You’ve left me alone today.
